Only if you won't {Mike x Reader|RQ}

[Name] watched speechless, not able to make a move, at the gigantic beast that was ready to eat whole without any trouble her Squad leader and lover, Mike Zacharius.
Her legs not able to obey to the inner orders she gave them to move, to do something.


She had been there frozen – to the exact same place she had fallen to the ground.


With her 3DMG without any gas left and her swords broken she had no other choice than to cry her eyes out to the terrible sight that was taking place right in front of her.
If only she could do something. Anything! If only she wasn’t captured by this 10 meter titan. If only she wasn’t so helpless that he had to save her. To take her place.

Yes, [Name] was the one who was captured by this hideous creature. Mike was there in time to save her from being eaten but as he was about to get behind the beast and finish it his 3DMG broke and before neither of them knew it he was a prisoner to the jail of the titan’s hand.

By knowing Mike’s character it was obvious that he would do something like that for any member of his squad; to sacrifice himself in order to save them.
But even if he wasn’t like that, there was nothing that he wouldn’t do for [Name].



She was the first one who joined his squad. As he did with every single person he met, he sniffed her. Her scent was something he had never smelled before, so sweet, so beautiful, so unique. It suited her perfectly.
It didn’t take long for them to confess their feelings for each other and to become a couple.
 
She watched him giving her a goodbye smile right before he got eaten and she collapsed on the ground, crying more than ever, not really caring if the titan would eat her next. Her life didn’t have a meaning now that the one she loved was gone.






[Name] woke up from her terrible nightmare, her breath quick and tears falling from her eyes to her cheeks.

It was just a nightmare! Just a dream!

She looked next to her to find Mike now awake as well as he was sitting straight from his sleeping position.


“[Name], what happened? Are you ok?” he asked, his voice sleepy but still concerned.
[Name] was so happy that he was alive. Alive and well. She was happy that he was with her.
As these thoughts were running through her mind she didn’t realize that she hugged him tightly; he of course hugged her back immediately, understanding that she was upset because of what she saw in her sleep.

Time passed and they stayed like that, feeling each other’s warmth in silence.
[Name] started to feel better and was trying to forget about that terrible dream of hers. Mike couldn’t just die like that!  He was one of the strongest!

Suddenly, he spoke, breaking the silence.
“[Name]… I know that tomorrow is the expedition but… I wanted to ask you this for a long time.” He waited for her to tell him something but instead she turned her head in a way so she would be able to face him.

Then there was a five minute pause that made her worry and finally ask: “Mike, what do you want to ask me?”  
Again, another minute of silence passed while Mike was out of the small dilemma he had if he should really ask this question or not. He made his decision though and spoke.

“Will you marry me?” he asked, almost whispering, but still he made sure that he sounded serious.

[Name]’s eyes filled with tears once more, happiness overtaking her and without thinking she hugged him tighter than she ever did or ever will and gave him a breathtaking kiss.

“Of course! Of course I will marry you Mike! But, I have to ask you to promise me something. Something I’ve been thinking from the moment I woke up.” She answered to his question, relieving him with her answer but also making him curious of what she wanted from him.


With a nod of his head, she said what she had in mind.
“Please don’t die tomorrow!” she technically begged him. He gave her a (bitter) sweet smile and kissed the top of her hand before speaking.

“Only if you won’t.”
