Children Aboard! {Prologue}

“Daddy! Daddy!” two girly high pitched voices here heard from the second floor of the apartment as the two 5 year-old twin girls, Kanra & Chrome were walking – or better running – down the stairs to greet their father who just returned home.

“My, my Kanra-chan, Chrome-chan, you act like I was missing forever! I was only away for an hour or two!” Izaya said as he hugged his daughters tightly and gave them a smile.
Not his usual smirk, when it came to his daughters Izaya had a real – maybe even sweet – smile on his face.


“Doesn’t matter if you were away for one hour or one month, your girls will miss you the same!” he heard his wife’s, [Name]’s, voice as he turned to look at her only to find her leaning at the kitchen door’s frame, a smile on her face as well.
“Do you count as well when you say ‘girls’?” he letted the two girls stand on their feet as he got closer to her, his smile now a smirk as his arms snaked around her waist, bringing her closer to him.

“Mommy will always be daddy’s No1 girl!” Chrome said happily, her sister agreeing with her.
[Name] looked to her daughters, the thought of how much they looked like Izaya came to her mind and made her look back to her husband to find similarities.


Before she could start observing him she found herself closing her eyes as her lips were connected with his.
Even though the kids were in front, she didn’t hesitate to kiss him back since it was nothing abnormal for them.

“Chrome-chan is right! Mommy will always be daddy’s No1 girl!” he said after breaking the kiss, his voice a bit louder than a whisper.
[Name] giggled as she felt him hugging her tighter in order to bring her closer to his body.


“Mommy, do you love daddy as much as he loves you?” Kanra asked and both girls went where their parents were standing. Joining the hug as Izaya got Kanra on his arms and [Name] got Chrome.
“Indeed I do Kanra-chan! We wouldn’t be here now if I didn’t!” [Name] answered her daughter’s question, her smile never fading away.

“So, what are we eating tonight [Name]?” Izaya asked happily as he felt his stomach purr.
“Daddy is like a cat!” Kanra laughed as she heard the purr as well which earned her get a tighter hug from her father.
“Haha, we’re having the children’s of this house favorite!” she answered, counting Izaya as well when she said ‘children’s of this house’.


“YAY! TUNA!” was what could be heard next from the three of them as they walked to the kitchen to eat their dinner.



Such a peaceful family you’ll think, and that’s true, it is!
